On January 14, "Build a Green Hydrogen City, Paint a Picture of Carbon Neutrality - Ordos Yuechi New Energy Vehicles Co., Ltd. Commissioning & Rolling-off of Its First Batch of Vehicles" ceremony was held in Ordos Zero Carbon Industrial Park in Ejin Horo Banner's Meng-Su Economic Development Zone.

Li Li, Secretary of the CPC Municipal Committee, Du Huiliang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Municipal Committee and Acting Mayor of the Municipal People's Government, Zhang Zhanlin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Zhang Wei, Standing Member, Secretary General and General Office Director of the CPC Municipal Committee, Hua Ruifeng, Standing Member of the CPC Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Banner Committee, Liu Fengyun, Deputy Mayor of the Municipal People's Government, Zhang Zhongzhi, Secretary General and General Office Director of the Municipal People's Government, Huang Bowei, Director of the Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, Yang Xiaolong, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Huo Liping, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Energy, and Wu Yun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Banner Committee and Mayer of the Banner People's Government, attended the event, and Yao Jincheng, Vice-president of Meijin Group, Chen Xiaomin, GM of Sinosynergy, and Zhang Zhejun, Executive Deputy GM of Sinosynergy, were present at the Commissioning & Rolling-off ceremony.

Secretary Hua Ruifeng delivered a speech on the occasion. He said the hydrogen energy base factory established by Meijin – Sinosynergy Technology and Industry Park in Ejin Horo Banner marked a substantial progress in the construction of the hydrogen-fuelled heavy-duty vehicle manufacturing industry chain, and laid a firm foundation for the cooperation between the local government and enterprises on pilot promotion of the commercial application of hydrogen-fuelled vehicles.He hoped Meijin – Sinosynergy would play the role of "chain administrator" to summon upstream and downstream support service enterprises for hydrogen-fuelled heavy-duty vehicles, build a high-standard complete vehicle manufacturing industrial chain and contribute more to the joint construction of a "northern green hydrogen city".

These 49T hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks are equipped with Sinosynergy's fuel cell system products. The trucks draw their power from clean and reliable hydrogen energy, featuring high power, high economic effect, easy operation and long range, meeting the requirements of all sorts of transportation tasks.


Sinosynergy, as a leader in the hydrogen fuel cell industry, started to assist with the commissioning of the first batch of fuel cell vehicles in China in 2016, and promoted the export of China's first fuel cell vehicles in 2018. Ordos is another important city where Sinosynergy has instated its hydrogen-fuelled heavy-duty trucks. At present, nearly 5,000 fuel cell vehicles equipped with Sinosynergy's fuel cell products are running in 34 cities of 16 provinces across the country, and have recorded a safe operation mileage over 120 million kilometers, providing clean power for the local construction of green ecology.

Sinosynergy, having landed in Ordos, will actively leverage its rich experience in the commercialization and operation of fuel cell products, work closely with upstream and downstream industrial partners, and contribute to Ordos' construction of a "northern green hydrogen city".
