On the morning of July 5, the nationwide launch ceremony of hydrogen energy heavy-duty trucks of HBIS Group was grandly held in the HISB Tangsteel New Area, marking the official commissioning of China’s first market-oriented hydrogen energy heavy-duty truck transportation line.


At present, the large-scale utilization of "renewable energy sources" has become a megatrend in the global energy transition.As a clean, efficient and sustainable "secondary energy source", hydrogen energy features "zero emission and zero pollution".Compared with battery electric heavy-duty trucks, hydrogen trucks have greater practical advantages in terms of driving range, dual power supply mode, and heavy load starting. Especially in winter in northern regions, the practical advantages of hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks will be doubled.


Sinosynergy, which was invited to the launching ceremony, has been committed to the R&D and market application of core technologies of hydrogen fuel cell systems since its foundation, and actively participates in and promotes energy reform. The 49-ton hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks launched this time were produced by Foshan Feichi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., and equipped with Sinosynergy's SynRoad G110 fuel cell system and SynStack GI fuel cell stack.

At the launching ceremony, except this high-power system, Sinosynergy also displayed the new high-power SynStack GI fuel cell stack and core components - membrane electrodes and flexible graphite bipolar plates released in 2020.


In this March, Sinosynergy joined hands with five leading hydrogen fuel cell enterprises to build the Western China (Chongqing) Hydrogen Valley; today, the Company cooperated with industry partners once again to help HBIS Group to build a hydrogen energy industry cluster in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region; in the future, Sinosynergy will continue to uphold the concept of openness and win-win, and cooperate with more partners in the field of hydrogen energy to promote the broader terminal application of fuel cell vehicles on the global market, and make positive contributions to the dual carbon goal.
