On June 1, 2021, the 2nd Conference of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia kicked off in Qingdao. With the theme of "Health Everywhere - the 2030 Era of Sustainable Development" and the slogan of "Health for Everyone", the conference set up the three sub-topics of "Achieving Health for All", "Promoting Health through Innovation" and "Health Integration into All Policies", and consisted of the opening ceremony, two plenary sessions, 33 sub-forums and 15 important events. Li Bin, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. Boao Forum for Asia Chairman Ban Ki-moon and Vice Chairman Zhou Xiaochuan delivered speeches, Shandong Provincial Party Committee Secretary Liu Jiayi, Boao Forum for Asia Secretary-general Li Baodong delivered welcome speeches, and Global Health Forum Chairman Margaret Chan Fung Fu-chun presided over the opening ceremony. Representatives of relevant national ministries and commissions, relevant leaders of some provinces and cities, representatives of international organizations, and embassies and consulates of various countries, academicians, experts and scholars, and heads of Fortune 500 companies attended the opening ceremony. People from all walks of life interacted actively, and worked together to promote the development of global health programs and international cooperation in the field of health.


With the significant increase of people’s health awareness, especially today when we are still affected by the pandemic, global concerns about topics such as energy, environment and health are unprecedentedly high, and the concept of low-carbon is deeply rooted among the people. Hydrogen energy is regarded as "the healthy and environment-friendly ultimate clean energy source". As a leading company in the domestic hydrogen energy industry, Sinosynergy brought a variety of fuel cell products to the conference.


At a sub-forum of this conference, Xu Guo, deputy mayor of Foshan City, Guangdong Province, gave a speech with the theme of "hydrogen era - new business format and future prospect of China's hydrogen energy industry". Xu Guo said that the hydrogen energy industry was closely related to human health, Foshan was committed to promoting the development of the hydrogen energy industry, was making R&D efforts with focus on core materials in many ways, and had established a world-leading R&D team.


As early as 2015, with the support of the governments of Foshan and Yunfu, Sinosynergy began to proactively explore development paths of hydrogen energy. In the past six years, Sinosynergy’s R&D team has made a series of major scientific research achievements through continual innovation, and realized self-reliance and localization in core technologies. At this conference, the hydrogen fuel cell products with complete intellectual property rights displayed by Sinosynergy attracted many guests and friends, and they showed strong interest and cooperation intentions in hydrogen fuel cell technologies.


In the new stage of high-quality development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the health industry will usher in greater development opportunities.
