On April 23, Yang Jun, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, and his entourage, visited Sinosynergy for investigation. Relevant leaders of Yunfu City attended the investigation. Dr. Liu Zhixiang and Dr. Yan Xiqiang, deputy general managers of Sinosynergy, gave a report and explanations.

During the investigation, Deputy Director-General Yang Jun and his entourage first visited the Foshan (Yunfu) Hydrogen Research Institute for Hydrogen Energy & New Material Development. Dr. Liu Zhixiang highlighted the core technical team and scientific research achievements of Sinosynergy, and said that under the guidance of the new Notice on Developing Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration Applications, Sinosynergy is strengthening R&D efforts, and upgrading product technologies and performance.


Subsequently, Yang Jun and his entourage visited Sinosynergy’s fuel cell system production line and stack workshop, and listened to the detailed explanations of Dr. Yan Xiqiang attentively to learn the technical advantages, performance, processing technologies and production capacity of Sinosynergy’s graphite bipolar plates and stack products, etc. The overall technology level of Sinosynergy was recognized.


Finally, Yang Jun and his entourage stopped in front of hydrogen energy heavy trucks and buses equipped with Sinosynergy’s hydrogen fuel cell products. Dr. Liu Zhixiang said that hydrogen energy heavy trucks were our key future application direction, these hydrogen energy heavy trucks were equipped with the 110-kilowatt SynRoad G110 system, the first eight heavy trucks had been delivered to the customer and received favorable comments from customers, batch delivery would be realized this year, and production was underway in full swing to meet the order demand.


During exchanges, Yang Jun recognized Sinosynergy as a model enterprise in the hydrogen energy industry of Guangdong Province. Dr. Yan Xiqiang said that Sinosynergy was actively building an open and win-win hydrogen energy ecosystem with upstream and downstream partners of the industrial chain, and promoting the benign development of the entire industry in cooperation with strong partners.
