On February 28, Puyang Hydrogen Industry Alliance was inaugurated during a ceremonious convention. Yang Qingjiu, Secretary of the CPC Puyang Municipal Committee, attended the meeting and presented to the Alliance its signboard. Mayor Wan Zhengfeng presided over the ceremony. Zhao Jianling, Hui Kang, Zhang Xiangkun and other leaders from Puyang City, Guangdong Nation-Synergy Hydrogen Power Technology Co., Ltd. (Sinosynergy), SINOPEC Zhongyuan Oilfield, and other member units of the Alliance were present to witness the grand event.

Puyang, as an industrial city rich in hydrogen, enjoys a sound foundation and vast application scenarios for the development of the hydrogen industry. And the CPC Puyang Municipal Committee and the Municipal People's Government have always been firm in their determination and confidence to develop and strengthen the hydrogen industry.

Yang Qingjiu pointed out, the CPC Puyang Municipal Committee and the Municipal People’s Government grasped the historical opportunity, looked 30 years ahead into the future to make hydrogen industry the critical breach for industrial breakthroughs, and deployed projects along the entire industrial chain from the production, storage, transportation, selling through utilization of hydrogen energy. The hydrogen industry park is fledging and has acquired an advantageous position to make Puyang a famous hydrogen industry pilot application city and a “Central Plains Hydrogen City”.


During the meeting, Sinosynergy, Puyang Government and Hualong District Government signed a "Project Cooperation Framework Agreement" and a "Sinosynergy Scientific Industry Park Project Investment Agreement". According to the agreement, Sinosynergy will build in Puyang a Sinosynergy hydrogen scientific industry park, hydrogen energy R&D center and related production lines to further promote the fast development of the hydrogen industry in Puyang.



Zhao Jianling, Standing Member of the CPC Puyang Municipal Committee and Executive Vice-mayor, announced the incorporation of Puyang Hydrogen Industry Alliance and the names of its chairman, executive vice-chairman, vice-chairman and secretary-general. Sinosynergy was elected an executive chairman unit.

"Puyang has chosen a right moment to establish the Hydrogen Industry Alliance. Under the guidance of the government, the Alliance is able to coordinate with member units to share information, promote efficient, complementary and concerted development, and improve clustering effect and demonstrative results", said Yang Zeyun, Sinosynergy Board Secretary, in his speech on behalf of the Alliance members.

The establishment of industry alliances and the creation of development communities will help Puyang expedite its construction of a modern energy system and realize sustainable and high quality economic development.

Sinosynergy will work closely with Alliance units, promote with higher efficiency Puyang's hydrogen industry development, contribute more to clean, low-carbon, beautiful and sustainable development, assist Puyang to speed up its change of track and take the lead in future industry development, and contribute more power to the construction of the Zhengzhou – Kaifeng – Luoyang – Puyang "Hydrogen Corridor".
