On November 3, Jiaxing City's "Be Advanced & Excellent" campaign came to Jiaxing Port District.During the event, Zhang Bing, Secretary of CPC Jiaxing Committee, Li Jun, Deputy Secretary of CPC Jiaxing Committee and Acting Mayor of Jiaxing Municipal People's Government, and the other leaders from Jiaxing City, municipal departments, districts and counties paid a visit to Meijin Sinosynergy Industrial Park.Dai Feng, Secretary of CPC Jiaxing Port District Committee, and Feng Zhonghai, Deputy Secretary of CPC Jiaxing Port District Committee and Director of Jiaxing Port District Administration, accompanied the leaders during the inspection.



Meijin Sinosynergy Industrial Park, a key hydrogen energy industry project in Jiaxing Port District, is a critical link in the hydrogen energy industrial chain in the District as well as an essential component of the Yangtze River Delta (Jiaxing) Hydrogen Industrial Park.Meijin Sinosynergy Industrial Park covers a planned area around 600mu (40ha.), and the investment comes from Shanxi Meijin Energy Co., Ltd. (Shanxi Meijin) and Guangdong Nation-Synergy Hydrogen Power Technology Co., Ltd. (Sinosynergy). Projects in the Park include the production of hydrogen fuel commercial vehicles, production of hydrogen fuel cell stacks, assembly of hydrogen fuel cell power systems, hydrogen energy sales and exhibition center, hydrogen energy technology R&D center and hydrogen stations.The Project was kicked off in February 2021, and will be completed and commissioned in June 2022. The annual production capacity is 5,000 hydrogen power systems and the output value is expected to reach 2 billion yuan.

During the onsite inspection, several models of hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles installed with Sinosynergy products were exhibited. They will play an important role in Jiaxing Port District's green ecology construction.Secretary Zhang Bing and his entourage were particularly interested in Sinosynergy fuel cell products: SynStack GI stacks and SynRoad G110 systems.Both products are 100% self developed. SynStack GI fuel cell stacks not only adopt all home-made membrane electrodes, bipolar plates and other parts and components, but also excel in comprehensive performance. Their service life has exceeded 20,000hr, leading the industry in the world.SynRoad G110 systems integrate SynStack GI high performance stacks and are the first to introduce a platform design, which enables the system integration of single, double and triple stacks in the same platform, leading the industry with a power range of 30-120kW.


Nearly 5,000 fuel cell vehicles installed with Sinosynergy products are now running in 30 cities of 15 provinces across the country and have operated safely over 100,000,000km, boosting the local construction of green transit system and clean low-C ecology.


Since this year, Jiaxing Port District has fully carried out the decisions and deployments of the CPC Jiaxing Committee and the municipal government, emphasized in particular on the current critical tasks of introduction and promotion of key projects, double control of energy consumption, and industrial park transformation, and achieved smooth and orderly economic and social development through pioneering, practical and fruitful works.Thanks to Jiaxing Port District's support in policy, advantageous locations and well established industrial foundation, Sinosynergy has entered deep collaboration with industrial partners in the region, and started with fuel cell commercial vehicles to launch demonstrative operation of Jiaxing's first hydrogen energy bus line and first hydrogen energy heavy-duty truck in last July, laying a firm foundation for the development of hydrogen energy in Jiaxing.

In the future, Sinosynergy will earnestly serve and embed itself in Jiaxing's strategic deployment, seize the development opportunities in Jiaxing Port District, proceed with technological innovation and high quality mass production, promote the commercial application of fuel cells, assist with the construction of the Yangtze River Delta (Jiaxing) Hydrogen Industry Demonstration Pilot Zone, and contribute to the achievement of the carbon peak and neutrality objectives.
