On the morning of July 13, 2021, the project cooperation and matchmaking contract signing ceremony for introduced R&D institutions led by the Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau was held at Wudu Hotel in Chongqing. Xiong Xue, Deputy Mayor of Chongqing Municipality and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the High-tech Zone, Ling Fan, Deputy Director of the general office of the municipal government, Xu Hongbin, Director-bureau of the municipal science and technology bureau, and other leaders attended the signing ceremony.40 introduced R&D institutions signed 90 matchmaking and co-building agreements and 14 project cooperation agreements with local universities, institutes, enterprises and other innovation entities.


At the contract signing ceremony, Chongqing CUG Industrial Technology Research Institute and Sinosynergy signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties reached a consensus on cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy and agreed to carry out all-round strategic cooperation in this field. Both parties have established long-term in-depth cooperation on hydrogen production and storage, hydrogen fuel vehicle operation, etc., deepened cooperation in the hydrogen energy industry chain, given full play to their advantages in scientific research, technology, and talents, realized complementary advantages in resources, and promoted the matchmaking of innovation resources and needs to jointly promote the building of a hydrogen energy society in Sichuan and Chongqing.


Chongqing CUG Industrial Technology Research Institute, established in 2019, focuses on the comprehensive development and utilization of resources, the R&D of hydrogen vehicles and hydrogen combustion battery engines, etc. At the meeting, Chongqing CUG Industrial Technology Research Institute also released more than 20 scientific and technological achievements, covering new energy, bio-environmental protection, new materials, intelligent manufacturing, earth science, geological disaster monitoring and control, road engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.

In the strong alliance between Sinosynergy and Chongqing CUG Industrial Technology Research Institute, modes such as technical cooperation and industrial incubation are utilized to jointly improve the R&D level of key technologies of both parties.

In this March, Sinosynergy joined hands with five leading hydrogen fuel cell enterprises to promote chain supplementation, expansion and enhancement, and build a demonstration hydrogen energy industrial chain cluster, and the Western China (Chongqing) Hydrogen Valley in Chongqing. Now, Sinosynergy and Chongqing CUG Industrial Technology Research Institute have further deepened cooperation, integrated resources, conducted two-way empowerment, and promoted the application of hydrogen energy technology in various fields through integrated innovation and development.

Sinosynergy will adhere to the principle of giving full play to advantages, mutual promotion, long-term cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win to actively promote the reservation and application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicle technologies, and fully support the industrialization process of hydrogen fuel cells in Chongqing and Sichuan, and jointly build a cooperative and sharing ecology in the hydrogen fuel cell industry, create a community of the hydrogen fuel cell automobile industry in western China, and provide new growth drivers to the new energy automobile industry.
