On July 19, the annual ceremony of the 21st China Century Grand Tour was grandly held in Beijing. Sinosynergy won the China Contemporary Green Model Award, and Deputy General Manager Dr. Yan Xiqiang attended the ceremony and received the award.


The China Contemporary Green Model Award aims to recognize enterprises that have made great contributions to clean and sustainable development, and to promote these backbone forces that have contributed to the carbon neutrality goals of China and the world. This glory is the recognition of Sinosynergy's achievements in hydrogen fuel cell technology and positive contribution to the dual-carbon goal.


The development of hydrogen energy is a powerful measure to realize the domestic dual carbon goal and promote the global energy transition, and has been included in the Outline of the 14th Five-Year Development Plan.

As a pioneer and promoter of the hydrogen energy industry, Sinosynergy has aimed to realize the industrialization and large-scale commercialization of fuel cell technologies, and conducted technological innovation starting from commercial vehicles since its beginning, greatly promoting large-scale and independent production of domestic fuel cell products.

In the past six years, the R&D team of Sinosynergy has continuously surpassed itself and realized the upgrading of core materials. At present, it has mastered a number of advanced core technologies such as the mass production of expanded graphite bipolar plates, thinning of flexible graphite bipolar plates, and design of high specific power fuel cell stacks, which have all been applied to the SynStack G series fuel cell stack, SynRoad G series fuel cell system, and some other new products.The SynStack G series stack incorporates a number of technological innovations, and milestone breakthroughs in domestic graphite plate stacks. As a technology innovative enterprise, Sinosynergy has obtained multiple certifications successively, such as "China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Demonstration Laboratory", "National High-tech Enterprise" and "National Green Factory".

In order to further promote the rapid development and interdisciplinary, large-scale application of the hydrogen fuel cell industry, Sinosynergy has built a key common technology platform to share system solutions, and all technologies from supply chain systems to engineering source codes with partners openly in order to improve product technical performance and reduce product costs through concerted efforts of the entire industry.

After six years of hard work, Sinosynergy shoulders the mission of building a green society, and actively promotes the commercialization of fuel cell vehicles in China. The fuel cell products produced have been used in construction, cleaning, transportation and other service in multiple cities, serving more than 4,000 vehicles worldwide. According to the designed production capacity, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles equipped with Sinosynergy products can reduce carbon emissions by approximately 600,000 tons per year.


Today, optimize and integrate industrial chain resources under the direction of national strategic demand, Sinosynergy is carrying out in-depth industry cooperation with industrial partners in the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, Shandong-Hebei, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, southwestern China and other regions. On March 18 this year, Sinosynergy and other five leading enterprises in the industry signed a strategic agreement with Jiulongpo District of Chongqing to jointly build a world-leading hydrogen energy technology industrial park and the Western China (Chongqing) Hydrogen Valley. The industrial park will promote industry chain supplementation, expansion and enhancement in the commercial operation of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and fuel cell vehicles, and become a hydrogen corridor hub and a demonstration hydrogen energy industrial chain cluster that covers Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and Guizhou Provinces, is based in southwestern China, and serves the whole country.
