On January 15, Ma Xingrui presided over a New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Conference, and had in-depth exchanges with representatives of Sinosynergy and other enterprises on policies and issues of the new energy vehicle industry, so as to promote the healthy development of the new energy vehicle industry in Guangdong Province. Ma Xingrui pointed out that the new energy vehicle, as a strategic and key emerging industry in China, played a significant role in constructing a modern economic system, promoting the industrial transformation and upgrading, enhancing pollution prevention and building a beautiful Guangdong. The General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly stated that the development of new energy vehicles is the only way for China to move from a major automobile manufacturer to a powerful one. Guangdong Province, a major manufacturer in the production and application of the new energy vehicle, has a good foundation for transforming itself into a strong province of new energy vehicles.

All local authorities and sectors in Guangdong province need to earnestly implement the important spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on "strengthening energy-saving and environmental protection industries, clean production industries, and clean energy industries", practice new development concepts, and follow the deployment requirements of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, strengthen confidence, seize opportunities, and take advantage of the situation to promote the new energy vehicle industry, make it an important pillar emerging industry in Guangdong province, and create a new highland for industrial development with leading advantages and a large-scale application demonstration area. Guangdong should further promote and apply the use of new energy vehicles in response to the needs of markets and users, formulate preferential policies to encourage users to use new energy vehicles, and promote the electrification of government, public transportation, logistics, and sanitation vehicles.
