On the morning of September 6, Hu Chunhua and Ma Xingrui visited the Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park in Silao Town of Yunfu City in the company of Jiang Ling and Deng Haiguang (officials of Guangdong Province), Pang Guomei (the Secretary of the Yunfu Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress), Wang Sheng (the Deputy Secretary of Yunfu Municipal Party Committee and the Mayor), and other officials of Yunfu City.

Hu Chunhua, Ma Xingrui and their entourage successively investigated the Feichi Assembly Workshop, Sinosynergy Hydrogen Refueling Station, Sinosynergy Remodeling Hydrogen Fuel Power System Production Workshop, and Synergy-Ballard Hydrogen Fuel Cell-Stack Production Workshop. During the period, Xu Guo and Ma Dongsheng, reported the current development status of the hydrogen energy industry in Yunfu City. Hu Chunhua fully praised the achievements of Sinosynergy and emphasized the need to develop Yunfu’s industry as soon as possible and the requirement of implementing "One Leading Project for One District", to help introduce leading industrial projects. In Yunfu City, it is indispensable to develop the new energy vehicle industry, introduce more upstream and downstream projects, and gather more enterprises and supporting service agencies.

With the support of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government and the continuous advancement of the strategic layout of the hydrogen energy industry, substantial progress has been made in the Yunfu Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park. On June 30, 2017, Sinosynergy built and put the world's largest commercial fuel cell stack production line into production in Yunfu.
