In the Silao Area of Foshan (Yunfu) Industrial Transfer Industrial Park, a formal operation ceremony was held for the first commercial passenger-carrying hydrogen energy bus demonstration line (Q101 Line). The Headquarters Special for Foshan to Help Yunfu, all staff of Park Management Committee, the relevant persons in charge of Foshan-Yunfu New Energy Transportation Investment Development Co., Ltd., Yunfu Feichi New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., Guangdong Nation Synergy Hydrogen Power Technology Co. It is learned that the hydrogen fuel electric bus with the HD-7 proton exchange membrane hydrogen fuel cell, which is the latest Ballard's product with the most advanced technology and the most stable performance in the world, is adopted. Thanks to the "zero" exhaust (the emission is water), the new vehicle becomes the first one without secondary pollution. In the bus demonstration line, the first bus departs from Jinshan Passenger Terminal at 7:30 every morning, and the last bus returns at 4 p.m., with about 50 minutes for each bus. The single trip of the demonstration line is about 65 kilometers, and the fee is charged by sections. The starting price is 2 yuan and the maximum is 7 yuan.
 
Liang Bin introduced that in terms of the first commercial passenger-carrying hydrogen energy bus demonstration line in China, while advocating green travel, the company will set Jinshan Passenger Terminal and Silao Station as the first and last station of the route respectively. The line mainly passes through hub stations such as Hekou, Yunfu East Station of the Nanning-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, Yunfu New District, Xiadong, etc., which can provide convenient, safe and comfortable travel routes for citizens in Yunfu.

Through joint monitoring and analysis by a cooperative team of domestic and foreign experts, the main monitoring indicators and complete vehicle performance have reached the international advanced level, vehicle safety and technology are mature, and the stability of the hydrogen energy system are guaranteed.
 
Liang Bin introduced that Foshan-Yunfu New Energy has promoted the passenger-carrying operation of hydrogen energy bus demonstration lines in Sanshui District and Yuncheng District in accordance with the relevant work arrangements of the municipal party and government joint meetings of Foshan and Yunfu; the company has secured the road transport operation license between the two places pursuant to the laws and regulations, and has got approval for the hydrogen energy bus demonstration line and fare standards. At the same time, upon the request of the Work Conference of Research on Hydrogen Energy Industry Development in Yunfu, the company will carry out the comprehensive market survey, to estimate the operating costs of the existing hydrogen energy bus, and will strengthen the communication with the Municipal Transportation Bureau, Guangdong Jiangmen Automobile Transportation Group Co., Ltd., etc., to jointly formulate a practical and highly operable TC operation plan under the premise of satisfying "operation requirements, vehicle and equipment requirements, service requirements, driving requirements, operation assessment, and profitability.”
 
Liang Bin also said that the company will take advantage of the accelerated development of the commercialization of hydrogen energy and fuel cell industries in China, to facilitate and improve the construction of hydrogen energy transportation infrastructure, and promote the popularization of green and environmentally-friendly hydrogen energy urban bus and other types of hydrogen energy vehicles, so as to make greater contributions to the people's green travel. In terms of the future route promotion and the construction planning of hydrogen refueling station, the company will, in accordance with the work deployment of municipal party committees and governments of Foshan and Yunfu on the hydrogen energy industry, accelerate the opening of 1-2 hydrogen energy city bus demonstration operation lines in each of the five districts of Foshan city. Even if it catches fire, the flame will spray upwards, causing no fire to the complete vehicle. In contrast, oil from the conventional fuel vehicle will flow downwards, easily resulting in fire on the complete vehicle, thus causing casualties. Therefore, the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle has a higher safety factor.
 
Liu Zhixiang said that in addition to the characteristics of green and environmental protection, the hydrogen fuel electric bus is equipped with more reliable parts and aluminum space frame, making the body lighter, and is provided with humanized design. The hydrogen energy is stored on the roof to prevent hydrogen from leakage and accumulation, and safety devices and measures are developed to avoid explosions and fires due to impact, high temperature and high pressure. So we take detailed safety precautions. It is only a matter of time before new energy vehicles replace conventional ones using gasoline and diesel. Along the way, the hydrogen energy bus was almost noiseless from turning to speeding-up, and the ride was less bumpy even when the vehicle was passing through potholed road, impressing the passengers with its stability. Zhang Qitian told reporters, "The full airbag shock absorber is used, allowing the body to automatically rise and fall, thus alleviating the bumpy feeling.”

At the hydrogen refueling station in the Foshan (Yunfu) Industrial Transfer Park, Tan Minglang, a technician in the station, told reporters, "The hydrogen energy bus is filled with hydrogen rather than oil. A passenger car requires 30 kg hydrogen in total. When the passenger car runs out of gas, it can be fully filled within 10-15 minutes, which allows it to travel for 300-400 kilometers." The station is provided with the mobile hydrogen refueling machine, which can be used for emergency if the hydrogen energy is used up.
 
"When refueling hydrogen, you must carefully record the bus filled and the hydrogen quality", the technician, who were refueling hydrogen energy bus in the hydrogen refueling station, said to the reporter. Before refueling the bus, the technician first eliminated the static electricity of the bus to ensure the safety of the refueling process, and then the technician connected the refueling pipe with the bus. Compared with the gas station, the hydrogen refueling station diffuses no smell of petrol in the whole process, which is rather clean.

He drives buses between Yunfu and Shenzhen and Guangzhou all the year round. Although he has changed careers now, he still has deep feelings for passenger cars. Some cities in China are also applying hydrogen energy buses, but he thinks there is a greater advantage in Yunfu. Among them, the biggest advantage is technology and "convenience". First, in terms of technology, Yunfu has its own technology and production lines; in respect of "convenience", it means convenient maintenance, replacement of parts, convenient driving training, and convenient follow-up research and development. These features are unmatched by other cities. Second, we are currently building a national garden city and a modern ecological city, which provides a major opportunity for the promotion of the hydrogen energy bus and even the hydrogen energy truck.
