On June 1, Mr. Yang Qingjiu, party secretary of the CPC Puyang Municipal Committee, met Mr. Chen Xiaomin, chairman of Guangdong Nation-Synergy Hydrogen Power Technology Co., Ltd. (Sinosynergy), and his entourage for discussions to promote the Puyang Sinosynergy Scientific Industry Park project. Leaders from Puyang City including Zhao Jianling, Hui Kang, Zhou Feng and principals from the municipal development & reform, industrial & information, finance, transport, urban management authorities and the district of Hualong attended the activities. Yang Zeyun, Liu Nuhai, Hua Gongchang, Xiao Xin from the Sinosynergy management and business managers from the region of Henan were present at the meeting.

Puyang, Henan Province, the place where Zhongyuan Oilfield undertakes exploration and development, is rich in renewable resources such as wind, solar and geothermal energies. In 2021, Puyang took a preemptive step and introduced the 3-Year Action Plan of Puyang City to Promote Hydrogen Energy Industry Development (2022-2024), which prescribes that by the year of 2024 there should be at least 10 enterprises engaged in hydrogen preparation, storage & transport, hydrogen fuel cell and vehicle parts production, 50% of new sanitation vehicles, engineering rescue vehicles and other municipal utility vehicles be powered by hydrogen fuel cells, 4 hydrogen fuel cell bus lines commissioned, 5 hydrogen refueling stations built, and more than 600 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles of various types put into operation, creating a complete industrial chain.

Mr. Yang Qingjiu extended his warm welcome to Mr. Chen Xiaomin and his entourages. He said since last year Puyang has accelerated, taken the lead and grabbed the new racing track, focused on hydrogen industry to seek breakthroughs in future development, grasped the major opportunity in the construction of Zhengzhou – Kaifeng – Luoyang – Puyang Hydrogen Corridor, conducted technological brainstorming, achievement transformation and project construction along the industrial chain of preparation, transport, storage and utilization to build an important hydrogen industry application demonstration base in the province. Sinosynergy as a leader in China's fuel cell industry fits perfectly well into Puyang's forward looking deployment of industries and high-quality development objectives. There exists an enormous room of collaboration between the two parties and the prospect is fascinating. He hoped the two parties will under the framework of cooperation further refine the provisions of agreement and step up the project construction in all aspects.

Chairman Chen Xiaomin expressed his gratitude to Puyang City for the help and support and presented the company’s current development and project progress. He said the company will continue to make use of its advantages to blend into the local development, strengthen communications with the relevant authorities in the next step, promote simultaneously the construction of the industrial park and make every effort to complete and commission the project in the third quarter to hail the opening of the CPC's 20th National Congress and to boost Puyang’s high-quality development.
